The system consists of:
- One or several video cameras which take pictures of the areas of interest.
- Sensors for: presence, sound, smoke, temperature, movement, flood, etc...
- One or several outputs which can be used to activate devices by remote command: open a gate, turn on a light, etc...
- A module for communication with a local network, telephone network or Internet.
Functions:
Having installed the cameras and sensors, people authorised by the owner of the system can access the pictures taken through a mobile telephone, computer or electronic diary. Visualization and analysis of the situation can be done from anywhere, with access to Internet or a telephone network (mobile or fixed).
If one of the sensors detects a situation of alert (movement, intrusion, noise, flood, etc.), the system will send an alarm by text message/multimedia to a mobile telephone and/or e-mail containing a video of the situation. The system will also store a sequence of pictures corresponding to the moment when the alert occurred, for subsequent examination.
Applications:
- Renewable energy installations: this equipment is perfect to avoid unnecessary travelling to isolated solar panel fields. By supplementing it with infrared/microwave barriers, whenever the perimeter of the installation is invaded, the system takes a video sequence and sends it immediately to the mobile telephone of the facility manager.
- Surveillance over a second home: the system provides effective and simple continuous monitoring, allowing both the remote visualisation of live pictures and the immediate receipt of alarms when an alert occurs.
Monitoring a livestock farm: it is possible to see live pictures of what is happening in a livestock barn, simply by installing a camera in the area of interest and connecting the system to a fixed or mobile telephone network. It is also possible to generate alerts when specific predefined conditions occur (flooding, intrusion, rapid fall in ambient temperature, etc...). This monitoring can be done both from a computer located in the farm itself and from hundreds of kilometres away.
Monitoring works: the monitoring makes it possible to follow up the construction process of a building from a distance. This application is of interest both for the building company and for the developer of the building.
Other applications are the monitoring of: production processes, petrol filling stations, work centres, shopping malls, kindergartens, parking lots, sports facilities, etc...

- Plug-in communications with information sent to a central server for production control. Designed for renewable energy installations. You can know, through the web/wap interfaces, at all times and from anywhere the quantity of energy that the various installations are producing.
