One of the main costs in agricultural irrigation is energy, usually in the form of electricity supply. The combination of the seasonality of irrigation, the billing model of power distributors, and the availability of space make solar pumping a very cost effective and efficient alternative.
Solar pumps have multiple advantages in agricultural irrigation and also some special control needs. When we have network connection, the available power is constant. Clouds significantly reduce the power generated by the panels and, with it, the amount of water that is pumped at each moment.

Our range of IProx Controllers applied to solar pumps in combination with a generator set, allows the pumping to work in a constant way. They minimize the number of hours the genset operates. Among their multiple functionalities, they are able to run an advanced control algorithm that permanently monitors the available radiation, the water accumulated in the pond (if any) and the programming of the irrigation for the current and next day. Only in absolutely necessary cases it starts up the group, always monitoring the minimum time between start up and operating.
In addition to this optimization of solar-genset hybridization, IProx Controllers and the IProx Irrigation app put on the farmer´s tablet a whole range of tools to achieve the most efficient irrigation with the least use of resources: energy, water, fertilizers, farmer´s displacements and time.

Control (remote manual or programmed) of lacht via radio using PRX-VALVE.
Continuous optimization of pump pressure according to the pressures required for each sector/pivot under current irrigation, which means an energy saving of 20-30%.
Remote control, automation and integration of pivots in irrigation programs with the pivot controllers iControl Remote, compatible with all well known brands of pivots.
Precise monitoring of power, pressures, operating hours, meteorology, etc. with exportable graphs and reports in PDF or Excel.
